Sprite Slam Dunk Contest

Prepare for an electrifying slam dunk contest you’ve never seen. The NBA’s best dunker takes place and competing to win the Sprite Slam Dunk Contest. This event will take place on the 19th Day of February (Saturday) at the Staples Center Arena, Los Angeles California. This Slam Dunk Contest will be the last contest in the Saturday’s event after the Footlocker 3-point Contest. This year a new Slam Dunk champion will be crowned as Nate Robinson of the Boston Celtics, the 2 time defending champion will not participate for this event this year.
            The biggest names in Slam Dunk today will participate in the event including the Rookie Superstar Blake Griffin of the Los Angeles Clippers who is best known for his power and dunking ability, Blake has his home court advantage as the event will take place in Los Angeles. Blake Griffin is 6ft and 10inches. He is coached by a 2-time NBA slam dunk participant, Kenny Smith. DeMar DeRozan of the Toronto Raptors will also participate in the event who is the smallest player in the contest with only 6ft and 7inches, DeRozan will practice with NBA Legend Darryl Dawkins. Another Player would play in the contest is the Oklahoma City’s Serge Ibaka. Ibaka is 6ft and 10inches and is also a great dunker in the league, he will work with his teammate Kevin Durant for the event. And Lastly JaVale McGee of the Washington Wizards will participate in the event; McGee is the tallest player in the contest with 7ft tall. He is then be trained by five-time NBA All-Star Chris Webber. This will really be an exciting contest to watch, watching all the freestyle dunk of the greatest dunkers in the league.
